How to grow

Sow Autumn to Spring
Sow 1cm deep, 23cm apart, in rows 30cm apart
Crops grown in cool weather have the best flavour
Plants may bolt to seed in hot weather
Plants are usually blanched by tying foliage together,
covering with a cardboard box or straw about 10 days before needed

Harvesting

Heads reach full size about 12 weeks after sowing
