Trees produce nuts from 5-10 years of age
Yields are variable each year
Yield can be as high as 15-20kg per tree
Pecan pie is a good dessert

















How to Grow

They grow in different soils
They like a deep fertile soil
Dig a hole big enough for the taproot
Pecans are wind pollinated
Keep birds away if possible

Autumn
Nuts fall from the tree when ripe
Dry the nuts
