A quick satisfying crop
Ideal for children
Can be grown all year long
There are two types summer radishes and winter radishes
Winter ones are larger like turnips
Radish leaves can be eaten in the same manner as turnip tops
They go well with lettuce in a salad















How to grow

Choose a sunny position
Sow seed  for summer radish 3cm apart in rows 15cm apart
Sow seed  for winter radish 23cm apart in rows 30cm apart
Keep well watered and use a liquid feed each week (optional)
Sow a foot or two of row each fortnight
















Harvesting

4-8 weeks for summer radishes
8-10 weeks for winter radishes
