How to Grow

Can be sown all year round
An open sunny site with fertile soil
Sow seed direct or transplant seedlings
Water the plants often
Apply a liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks














Harvesting

Lettuce is mature in 8 to 12 weeks















Varieties

Butterhead - large hearts
Cos Verdi - large green leaves with a tall heart
Freze - A good winter lettuce
Green Mignonette - Small heads
Iceberg - Very dense heads
